The self-constructed self

Through the dissection and reconstruction of photography, the artist confronts us with the duality of identity. The fragmented image represents the break with social expectations and the construction of one's own identity, free from external impositions.

The works invite us to reflect on the complexity of personal and cultural identity and the struggle for self-acceptance, challenging preconceived notions of belonging and social acceptance. It is an invitation to celebrate the diversity of human experiences over the expectations of others. It aims to generate a positive impact and foster greater empathy for those who feel marginalized or excluded by society.
